Well the Grammy's have given in to processed crap. Now they truly are on the same level as the American Music Awards. What a shame.

I find it unbelievable that Pearl Jam's "Backspacer" was not nominated for album of the year. Why is it always the pop artists (versus rock) that are nominated in this category?

Musical Shows haven't been posted quite yet, and I know complaining about Grammy nominations is about as meaningful as what I had for breakfast this morning, but Shrek and 9 to 5 and no Next to Normal? Really? Really?

Why is everyone so surprised....same crap new year. For those of you who really don't get it.....Taylor Swift sucks....she can't sing. We need better talent exposed....where have all the triple threats gone?

Take it from a friend who worked in that dinosaur known as a record store: Many popular music aficionados would be surprised at the numbers of the music-buying public who depend on the Grammy Awards to make their purchases.

Good grief. Almost all of their rock nominations are dinosaurs. What's up with that?? Some of the best rock'n'roll ever is being made by contemporary artists right now. As just one example, Jack White has had more influence on the last decade of rock music than anyone else around. And his third band, The Dead Weather, have been garnering immense critical praise since their first album, Horehound, came out earlier this year. Smoky, swampy, thundering and electrifying blues rock that knocks your socks off in a way that hasn't been done since The Doors. Hasn't anyone been paying attention??

What about Day and Age...?
Posted by: THE KILLERS | December 03, 2009 at 01:59 PM
So yea, Clapton got put on the list? Eh? Anyone enjoy that tid bit of orgasmic material....And the killers, coulda done much better with that album maybe if they got a real producer...not Madonnas playmate. I am not a huge fan of their music, however that jack white probably should have been thrown up there for something. I would love to see the guys from australlia win an award, but not over clapton/winwood!!

i think that beyonce will win the recod and song of the year because she tryed real hard just to bring out this song and put alot of good effort into it but lady gaga might win album of the year

You know what, we are sick of Beyonce. We hve seen enough of this useless hair extensioned, veneer teethed permanent make-uped surgeried and liposuctioned fool. Please we need to see someone else. We are sick of monopolies. Thank you

We are sick of useless people like Beyonce who pretend that they can sing constantly parading their dress and liposuctioned bodies and false blond hairs all over the TV with their tights and parading often naked or semi naked, with their permanent make up on their faces who benefit nothing at all to the world. Please just go away Beyonce, we are sick of seeing your antics go to your hyusband and stop showing everyone your naked liposuctioned body and blond extensions. You are not really pretty without all these things you do to yourself. leave us alone in peace. You overdo your promotion to try to monopolise. Please go away.

Wow, Tanya. Jealous much?

Lady Gaga should have won a couple of more Grammy's but
being different is a handicap. She has more talent than most of the others put together

I forgot about the Grammy's last night, but after reading the winners list today, I glad I didn't tune in. The Grammy's are irrelevant and becoming more so every year. At least the motion picture awards shows have some categories that recognize artistic excellence. The Grammy's seems to lack that and strikes me as being even more of a "vote for me and I'll vote for you" award than the Oscars.

Why is Taylor Swift winning? All her songs sound the same.
