Brent Bolthouse leaves SBE

September 22, 2009 |  1:42 pm

Major L.A. nightlife impresario -- and sometime DJ -- Brent Bolthouse has left Sam Nazarian’s powerhouse hospitality firm SBE. A Bolthouse rep has confirmed the split, which was earlier reported by a post on stylesectionla.com.

While he’s best known for producing lavish, star-studded events across the country (as well as surviving a stint as Heidi Montag’s boss on MTV show “The Hills”), Bolthouse has also made his name as something of a DJ.

"We can confirm that Bolthouse Productions has left day to day operations at SBE," said his publicist Joanna Cichocki via email.  "Brent Bolthouse and Jenifer Rosero are continuing to operate Bolthouse Productions as an independent entity."

Bolthouse hosted Tuesday night radio show “Feel My Heat” on the now defunct station Indie 103.1 FM, and can still be heard on the air when he occasionally fills in as guest host for Mathieu Schreyer’s Saturday night show on KCRW FM (89.9).
