Kitty, Daisy & Lewis -- A modern vintage
Last month, I met the very young London trio Kitty, Daisy & Lewis on their bus before they opened for Coldplay at the Home Depot Center in Carson. They play this blend of '50s country, rockabilly and R&B that, while fervently throwback, is actually very au courant in its genre-splicing sensibility and attention to production detail.
