BET Awards: Live chatting -- now!

What had promised to be a typical pat-on-the-back award show telecast will now probably take on a more somber note. BET is promising its Sunday night awards to be a Michael Jackson tribute of sorts.
Debra L. Lee, chairman and chief executive of Black Entertainment Television, told the Associated Press that this Sunday's BET Awards would be undergoing "a total overhaul," with performers added and performances being changed.
Ne-Yo, pictured, and Beyonce will appear, as will Justin Timberlake, Usher, Keyshia Cole, Maxwell, Monica and more. We'll be here hosting a live chat, discussing the performances and the tributes. Join in and share in the fun.
The party starts Sunday at 5 p.m. Pacific.

First ; to Michael J family may God bless you, keep you and console you at a time such as this, when all you can do is search for answers and try to understand. May you find the answers that truly you, not the media , not the public, but you need to know, God will give it to you. Now to this doggy dog world let's celebrate his life and not speculate his death. He was a man, he has a family, he has children. let's remember that as so many set out to be so hurtful and cruel. Even the media need to learn that death in itself is hard, no matter who it may be, there is always a family left in mourning, so we should remember that and be respectful. Everyone says Michael was lonely and had no friends, ha! I beg to differ, he was smart, and knew how to pick them. (very carefully). "Start with the man in the mirror" .

Black Entertainment TV - Check your cable listing. The question is: Is the show "LIVE" to East Coast only -- and the rest of us in LA might have to wait until 8pm Pacific.

Yes, Roberta -- live for East Coast only. The West Coast airing is tape-delayed, unless you have a satellite provider. Thanks,

Twitter comments early on killed the show -- sorry, I don't want to waste my mind watching it.
