Radiohead to get the USC marching band treatment at Grammys

In addition to Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl and Kanye West, the Grammys will turn to another old favorite to perform in its annual awards gala: the USC marching band.
Look for the Trojans to appear with adventurous British rockers Radiohead on Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. A Grammy spokeswoman declined to comment, but Pop & Hiss has faith in the tip, which comes from a knowledgeable insider.
However, Pop & Hiss does not know what song Radiohead will be performing, although someone named "Stevens Goes to USC" posted on the Rolling Stone website that the band will be performing its Grammy-nominated "House of Cards."
This won't be the first time the Trojans will have been showcased on the Grammy awards. Members of the Spirit of Troy performed with OutKast in 2004 for a rendition of "Hey Ya!" Watch it after the jump.

Anyone hear of any rumblings around 'secret shows' for any of the Grammy artists while in LA?

They'll be performing 15 Step.

...rumour has it that they'll be opening the show, as well.
Your "knowledgable insider" is Ateaseweb I take it? You should give them credit. :)

Juliet, LA Times actually broke this story before it was posted on Atease. Considering the USC Marching Band is made up of dozens of people, it's safe to say there's likely more than one source.

But it doesn't matter, really, with all the members of the marching band likely spreading the news-- it's not the kind of thing one could keep secret even if they wanted to-- so it was only a matter of time before the news showed up. I meant my comment in a playful sort of way, so I hope no hard feelings.
Latest has it that the fantastic stage lights RH used last year on their tour are set up on the Grammy stage. This could be an insanely wonderful 3 minutes-- I'm looking forward to it. :)
