The Boy Least Likely To ushers in December

December 1, 2008 |  4:11 pm

A lot of holiday songs feel disingenuous, a way for some cynical Santa to get a little spike in sales at the end of a slow year, but "The First Snowflake" from The Boy Least Likely To, the English band that's so twee it's pretty much the musical equivalent of a fuzzy-wuzzy baby mitten, soothes all of our Black Friday-trampled hearts like vintage Simon & Garfunkel. The single's out officially Dec. 15; a new album, "The Law of the Playground" in March. Check out the video below, complete with beautiful scenes of autumnal Scotland and a storybook ending in front of the hearth.
