Giant Maximus is adding a few names to its annual New Year’s Eve blowout. Paul Oakenfold will play a special early set at the party downtown before jetting off to Las Vegas to spin at the Palms.

Giant’s Dave Dean also tells Pop & Hiss that he has brought on Hard founder Gary Richards to help curate a "Destructo" stage, which will feature acts such as Mickey Avalon, Dirt Nasty, DJ Paparazzi and Richards himself (as DJ Destructo).

Previously released headliners for the upcoming event, Moby and Benny Benassi, both turned in stellar back-to-back DJ sets earlier this year at the massive Electric Daisy Carnival.

Mark Farina and Marques Wyatt will also spin on a smaller "Deep" house music stage at Giant Maximus, which features climate-controlled tents. This is the third year that the updated take on the rave will all but take over an area of downtown near hotels such as the Standard. Pre-sale tickets start at $65.

Full lineup and more details can be found at Giant's website.
