Somebody does it better: Inara George and Ben Folds tackle Bond tune

November 14, 2008 |  3:57 pm

Inara George had a fairly busy Thursday evening.  I saw George's band the Bird and the Bee perform last night at a Hunnypot event in Hollywood, only to see the songwriter-vocalist turn up on television performing a fantastic version of Carly Simon's "Nobody Does It Better" with Jimmy Kimmel's primary music guest for the evening, Ben Folds, when I got home.

If you missed it, it's worth checking out above.   Perhaps this will get some in the mood to see "Quantum of Solace" this weekend.... Myself, I'm more wistful for Bond-of-yore (although I did enjoy "Casino Royale"), and I remain on the fence about even seeing "Quantum" after reading some lackluster reviews.
