Who's that Romeo in Taylor Swift's "Love Story" video?
What's a talented young singer-songwriter to do? All Taylor Swift did was shoot a music video for her latest single, “Love Story,” featuring a tall, dark and hunky young actor playing a Romeo to her Juliet, and right away fans assume it’s her boyfriend.
The 18-year-old crown princess of country music laughed at the suggestion while visiting L.A. recently on one of her frequent trips here for awards ceremonies, TV show tapings and promo appearances, all of them leading up to the Nov. 11 release of her sophomore album “Fearless.”
We’ll be profiling Taylor in depth soon in Calendar, but let’s set the record straight on one thing: This “Love Story” is only on screen.
Her Romeo is 20-year-old fashion model Justin Gaston, who has appeared in ads for clothes from Hollister Co., 2Xist and other designers.
“He was recommended by someone who had seen him on ‘Nashville Star’ and thought he was perfect,’ the ever bubbly young dynamo said during a chat at her hotel recently. “I looked at his pictures and thought ‘He is perfect for this video.’”
It’s a time-jumping scenario that hops between past and present to illustrate her song about timeless love that was meant to be (watch it below the jump).
“I was so impressed by the way his [expressions] were in the video. Without even saying anything, he would just do a certain glance and it really came across well. I was very impressed with how good of an actor he was.”
Nothing more than acting?
“No!” she says, giggling. "Definitely not! I think if you shoot a video with any guy, certain people are going to think there’s something more to it. But he’s a cool guy. I got to be around him for two days for the video shoot and he seems like a really cool guy.”

Taylor Swift had some humble beginnings as far as where she came from as a singer/songwriter it was all earned. After people started recognizing that this talented teen has what it takes to succeed in the industry they started climbing on board. The debut (Taylor Swift) cd has now been selling in the top 10 country cd's for over 103 weeks !
I am predicting "Fearless" her sophomore cd will outsell the debut! There is much more coming from this multi-talented teenager and I am on board for the long haul.

I heard on an interview that a guy from Nashville Star played Romeo. Maybe she lied? I don't know but the show Taylor Swift: on the Set, She kept yelling "Hey, Trey" and " Oh my gosh,Trey!"

I remember him on Nashville Star and he also sang pretty good but when you look like that who cares if you can sing or not! I must say it was'nt his singing that made me remember him! WOW! Oh yeah I do like Taylor Swift, very talented young lady.
