Here we go! Jane's Addiction will play La Cita on Thursday night

Pop & Hiss told you last week that Jane's Addiction would be playing a very small bar in L.A. sometime this fall. Well, it was confirmed on Dave Navarro's blog Tuesday that the entire lineup would reunite Thursday for a full show at La Cita Bar in downtown Los Angeles. The night is hosted by Shepard Fairey, who will break away from maniacally screenprinting Obama posters and T-shirts for the evening.

But here's the rub for us norms who want to squeeze into the red-lighted bar and catch a little "Jane Says" in person: La Cita says it's totally booked for the night. "Don't bother. We're booked, sold out, over," says bartender Carl. A couple of days ago, La Cita and Dance Right, Fairey's standing Thursday night party there, sent out an RSVP list, and well, let's just say the response was good for the $10 show. Still, this is L.A., the city of dreams, so we encourage begging or bribing the doorman. Perry Farrell and company go on at 11 p.m.
