Breaking from Chicago: Jennifer Hudson's relative believed slain
A relative of Oscar-winning actress/singer Jennifer Hudson is believed to be one of two people found slain in a Chicago home, according to a report on the breaking news blog for the Chicago Tribune. An update, courtesy of MTV.com, reports that Hudson's mother and brother were both killed
The Tribune reports that the home is owned by Darnell Donerson, who is Hudson's mother. According to the story from Jeremy Gorner and James Janega:
One of the victims was a woman in her 50s who was shot in the head and the other was a 29-year-old man who was shot in the chest, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office.
The Chicago Tribune is continually updating its blog, and Pop & Hiss recommends clicking the above link for the latest information.
Hudson is said to have grown up in the Chicago home. The Tribune quotes Chicago Police spokeswoman Monique Bond, who said at least one victim is "believed to be" a relative of Jennifer Hudson.
The shooting was believed to be related to a domestic disturbance, Bond told the Tribune, stressing that this was preliminary information.

My prayers are with the entire Hudson family. I know that this will prove to be a painful time for your family, but believe that God will see you through. Be strong, He doesn't make mistakes. Look to God and Heaven in your time of need. Prayer is soothing.

Jen I want you to know that things will happen that we will never have controll over or even be able to pathom, but these events that take place in our lives tend to remodel and reshape us as individuals. Please know that everyone prayers are with you and your entire family. Only God knows why these things will happen. your not by yourself jenny. Like My Mom used to say " The Devil is just mad" Remember JOB and his trials and tribulations read what happened to him you will find it interesting.

Know that God only presents us with challenges and circumstances that He knows we can handle and get through. Jennifer, PLEASE get your remaining family and yourself OUT of drug and invested crime city of Chicago. Move to secured area of Beverly Hills, CA. When was the last time you have heard a movie star or their family being murdered there? Maybe Sharon Tate 40 years ago. Get into secured areas like other movie stars and get protection and privacy NOW! So sorry to read about your family and loss of life of such decent loving people. On the brighter side I think you are great and deserve a lot of credit for receiving an oscar for your first movie made. I don't think anyone has accomplished that feat but you.
