If there is any doubt that ‘The Social Network’ is going to win picture-drama at the Golden Globes tonight, it’s quickly being erased as the evening moves along. The Mark Zuckerberg tale already has won in writing and directing categories and could well do the same when the big prize is handed out.

If you’re a fan of the film, that’s encouraging news. If you’re a fan of ‘The King’s Speech’ or ‘The Fighter,’ the thing to hang your hat on is that the Globe winner doesn’t always win the best picture Oscar. In fact, a split happened last year, when ‘The Hurt Locker’ was defeated by ‘Avatar’ at the Globes but went on to win the best picture Oscar. Updates continue, of course, at Awards Tracker.
