Another Hollywood tour bus company has joined the swelling ranks of tour operators selling to the tourists shuffling along Hollywood Boulevard.

But the newest company offers a slightly different tour.

Tinseltown Movie Location Tours, started this month by movie buff Daniel Storm, takes tourists to the film locations of up to 30 movies and then shows clips from those movies on video monitors mounted inside the tour bus.

Earlier this summer Starline Tours, Southern California’s largest tour bus company, launched a tour designed by the producers of the celebrity gossip show TMZ that cruises by the scenes of celebrity scandals. Starline also launched this summer a new tour of famous local crime scenes.

The two-hour Tinseltown Movie Location tour swings by the filming locations for such movies as the 1978 horror classic ‘Halloween,’ the 1984 sci-fi film ‘The Terminator’ from 1984 and 1998 comedy ‘The Big Lebowski.’

The new tour company operates from 6729 Hollywood Blvd., where Storm also runs a film museum with authentic movie costumes and props.
