Chat with David Pierson about North Korea

David Pierson, a business reporter in The Times’ Beijing bureau, will be chatting with readers on Thursday at 4 p.m. PDT. Pierson had the opportunity to report from North Korea last weekend, a rare event for a Western journalist. Pierson’s articles about the public introduction of Kim Jong Il’s heir ran Saturday and Monday.

Pierson, who has worked for The Times since 2000, has been in Beijing since May 2009. He’ll be chatting with readers about his experiences in North Korea as well as in Beijing. Come back to latimes.com/readers to ask him your questions.
