America Out of Work series: Chat with the reporters
Alana Semuels and Stuart Pfeifer will be chatting with readers at 11 a.m. Monday about the "America Out of Work" series.
Semuels' article Sept. 5, which kicked off the series, introduced readers to some unemployed Southern Californians, including 61-year-old Mignon Veasley-Fields, who was laid off in June 2008. "I'm just hanging on a thread," she told Semuels.
The latest installment, by Pfeifer, was in Sunday's Times. The chat will take place on the Readers' Representative blog.
