Gotta go? Try the Santa Monica Pier bathrooms

An annual survey to find the nation’s best restroom has included the public toilets at the Santa Monica Pier among the top 10.

For the last eight years, the survey by Cincinnati-based Cintas Corp. has allowed online voters to choose the nation’s best bathroom.

Previous winners include the lavatory at the Shoji Tabachi Theater in Branson, Mo., and the loo at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville.

Cintas nominated its top 10 choices and gave the Santa Monica Pier bathroom high marks for its ‘whimsical architecture’ and an ‘undulating roof’ that evokes thoughts of wooden roller coasters and ocean waves.

To vote for the top toilet, go to the Cintas website.
