Theme parks roll out the big attractions this summer

It is an axiom of theme park operators that you have to offer something new each year to keep visitors coming back.

Last year, with the economy in the doldrums, most Southern California theme parks offered no new attractions but lots of discount ticket offers.

In contrast, the theme parks this summer are preparing to roll out some of the biggest attractions in years, including the new King Kong 360 3-D at Universal Studios Hollywood and World of Color at Disney’s California Adventure Park in Anaheim.
