Fed notes coming. The Federal Reserve will release the notes from its March meeting at 2 p.m. EDT today, shedding some light on what the central bank is thinking about future interest rates.

Wall Street pay. The overall payrolls on Wall Street are up, even as banks have made cuts to compensation to top executives, a new Wall Street Journal survey shows.
