Here’s a real case of a company making lemonade (or sandwiches) out of a potentially awful situation. A customer at a Which Wich sandwich shop in Atlanta opened his mouth so wide to eat one of the company’s signature sandwiches that it got stuck, according to a Nation’s Restaurant News article by writer Ron Ruggless. He had to go to the emergency room to get his jaw fixed, a painful process that took 12 hours.

The company found out about it when the guy’s wife wrote an e-mail asking for a replacement sandwich. Which Wich did that and more, naming a sandwich after the customer, Chad Ettmueller, and posting information about the incident on Facebook and other social media. Pictures of Ettmueller and company President Jeff Sinelli are on Which Wich’s website, and there’s a video on Youtube.
