Sixty bucks is a lot to pay for a console game, especially when the economy stinks. So it’s fair for players to ask just where their hard earned cash goes after they’ve purchased a game like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Uncharted 2.

We found a rough, back-of-the-envelope answer to that question, thanks to Steve Perlman, founder of OnLive, a digital game distribution service based in Palo Alto, Calif. Perlman, in a slide shown during a talk at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas this week, laid it all out for us.
