One of the hottest gadgets of the year is the eReader, but it’s in short supply, Alex Pham writes. Shoppers are finding more hype than actual products on store shelves.

While sales of Amazon.com Inc.’s Kindle readers continue to sizzle, other manufacturers are either late to the party or delaying their product launches until next year.

If you wait to buy until next year, not only will you have more choices, you’ll probably get lower prices too.
