Bed and hammock recalls

September 23, 2009 |  3:26 pm

It's getting dangerous to take a snooze these days.

Big Lots is recalling bunk beds with the model numbers WP-9108-1 and WP-9108-2 because the slats and side supports can break and cause the beds to collapse. Here's the link to the Consumer Products Safety Commission release, which contains more information, including a phone number you can call if you've had a problem with one of these beds.

Meanwhile, it turns out that the hooks that hold up hammocks made by Grand Trunk of Skokie, Ill., can fail, causing snoozers to fall. Here's the info.
