Twitter, blogs and texting playing major role in Haiti quake information sharing
Nielsen Co. is reporting on its blog that consumers worldwide are using social media and text messaging as a major source of information on the Haiti earthquake.
Although readers are relying on traditional media sources for earthquake coverage, they then turn to Twitter and blogs to discuss and share the information.
