Zandra Rhodes, the British fashion designer, is the focus of an exhibition in Mexico City's Franz Meyer Museum for the next few months called "Pasion por la moda / A lifelong love affair with textiles."

Zandra Rhodes and Sergio Alcala Rhodes' clients have included Madonna, the late Princess Diana and Freddie Mercury, who was front man for Queen. She came to Mexico to open the exhibition last week.

The show was organized jointly by the museum and the Anglo Mexican Foundation and is a retrospective of the designer's creations since 1969 through to 2005.

The exhibition runs until Aug. 2.
