Another organized crime officer killed in Mexico
This has been a bad week for Mexico's police. Edgar Millan Gomez, the national coordinator of Mexico's battle against organized crime, was shot dead Thursday in the country's capital.
The assassin was hiding in his home, and according to this story by Héctor Tobar, Gomez is the third policeman to be killed this week. Read more here.

These people are considered martyrs on this drug war. These people are risking their lives to end this decades-long drug war. I hope the Mexican gov't aren't discouraged by this. Keep it up!!
