No doubt, lazy Angelenos will come up with dozens of reasons not to vote Tuesday, when jobs for mayor, city council, school board and community college board are up for grabs.

But I met a Koreatown resident who can’t wait to go to the polls. High school senior Eunice Lee is 18, and this will be her first chance to vote. She’s going to the polls with her family and boyfriend and plans to make a whole day of it.
