Photos: Brush fire destroys 200 acres in Riverside County

A brush fire that began Thursday afternoon has destroyed more than 200 acres in Riverside County, officials said Friday.

The blaze was 30% contained on Friday morning, officials said. About 200 officials were on scene, includineg one water-dropping helicopter and two bulldozers.

The National Weather Service predicted winds as high as 35 mph on Friday. Firefighters had hoped winds would die down Friday so they could attack the brush fire more aggressively.
