Search for shooting suspect snarls traffic on 110 freeway

Shooting suspect apprehended in Carson

Traffic on the southbound 110 Freeway was snarled Wednesday night  as authorities pursued a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting.

The suspect was apprehended shortly before 10 p.m. in the Carson area, authorities said. Traffic was backed up for several miles on the busy north-south freeway.

No other details were immediately available.
