Reader photos: Family kites at Point Fermin
Lenny Lloyd de Silva took this photo of a couple watching their two children flying kites at Point Fermin on Feb. 17. He used a Nikon D3100.
After running around trying to get the kites to fly, the kids seemed to lose interest, he said. They just liked being outside.
"The little girl was holding the kite for a bit and then just letting go, so then the whole family would have to chase the string. It was great fun to watch and just a great day at Point Fermin," he said.
