Dorner manhunt: Charlie Sheen asks alleged cop killer to call him

February 10, 2013 |  5:00 am

Charlie SheenIt seems actor Charlie Sheen has reached out to ex-LAPD Officer Christopher Dorner, the triple murder suspect who is the subject of a massive manhunt.

In an online manifesto that authorities believe Dorner posted to his Facebook page, the former officer threatened "unconventional and asymmetrical warfare" against police officers and their families.

But he is apparently an admirer of Sheen.

“Charlie Sheen, you're effin awesome,” Dorner wrote.

He also praised Michelle Obama and Anthony Bourdain, among other celebrities.

Following his dismissal from "Two and a Half Men" in 2011, Sheen became famous for rantings of his own, asserting that he had "tiger blood" and belittling the TV show's creator.

In a short video posted on TMZ Saturday, Sheen asks Dorner to get in touch.

“You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words,” Sheen says.

“I am urging you to call me. Let’s figure out together how to end this thing. Call me. I look forward to talking to you.”
