A 28-year-old woman told Glendale police that a man grabbed her from behind and pulled her hair after she pulled over to check her vehicle’s tire pressure, police said.

The woman had stopped about 4:15 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Langley and Dixon streets because of what she thought might be low tire pressure, according to police.

As she checked her tires, a man grabbed her waist and hair and pulled her back, police said.

She quickly turned around and saw a man, whom she immediately punched in the face, police said.

The woman then got back into her car and drove to a nearby neighborhood, where she called police, the Glendale News-Press reported.

She suffered a small finger cut from punching the man, police said.
