Actor Thomas Gibson gets 3 years' probation for drunk driving
Actor Thomas Gibson, known for his roles in "Chicago Hope,” “Dharma and Greg" and “Criminal Minds” pleaded no contest Tuesday to one count of alcohol-related reckless driving following an arrest in downtown Los Angeles.
Gibson was immediately sentenced to three years' probation, fined $300 plus unspecified assessments and ordered to attend an alcohol education program.
Gibson, 50, was arrested earlier this month at 1:05 a.m. at 11th Street and Grand Avenue, Los Angeles police said. He was booked about half an hour later and released on $15,000 bail.
