Sheriff’s deputies shoot man in Gramercy Park

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies shot one man Monday morning and were searching for additional suspects in connection with an unspecified incident, authorities said.

Deputies have set up a containment area around West 98th Street and South Harvard Boulevard in Gramercy Park. No details about what led to the shooting were available.

The shooting took place about 5 a.m., Deputy Benjamin Grubb said. The suspect was taken to a local hospital. His injuries and condition were unknown, Grubb said.
