Reader photos: Tribute along Angeles Crest Highway

At a scenic turnout along Angeles Crest Highway in La Cañada Flintridge, Genji Arakaki happened upon this vase of wilted roses. They were left there without any indication for their purpose, he said. Arakaki photographed the flowers Dec. 23 with a Canon PowerShot G10.
