Pasadena man dies after shooting

A 21-year-old Pasadena man who was shot in the head earlier this week has died, police said Friday, and a teenage boy remained in custody in connection with the case.

The 17-year-old was arrested Wednesday in the shooting at Chester Avenue and Maple Street. He was being held on suspicion of murder, police said.

Zane Goldstein was shot about 2 p.m. Tuesday while he was in a vehicle with his brother, police said. His brother was uninjured, the Pasadena Sun reported.

Two Latino males had been seen leaving the area after the shooting, which remains under investigation.

Police also arrested an adult male on Thursday afternoon and were questioning him about the shooting, police said.
