West Covina man accused of killing wife has court hearing Wednesday

A 60-year-old West Covina man suspected of killing his wife and leaving her body in an abandoned car in a casino parking lot is due in court Wednesday morning.

Tomas Infante was arrested on Monday after investigators served a search warrant at his home and allegedly found evidence connecting him to his wife’s death, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities said Infante killed his wife, Charlita Tolentino, 57, at their home and then left her body in a car in the parking lot of a Hawaiian Gardens casino.

He is being held at County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.

According to the Sheriff’s Department website, he is due in a Pomona courtroom at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
