Man found shot to death on 10 Freeway in Pomona

Interstate 10 near Pomona was closed for more than eight hours Wednesday after the California Highway Patrol found a 32-year-old man shot to death beside his car.

Authorities told KTLA-TV that about 12:30 a.m., officers noticed a white car on the shoulder of the eastbound White Avenue offramp.

The backside window on the driver’s side was shattered and it remains unclear when the car was targeted, police told KTLA-TV. The man was shot in the upper body and pronounced dead at the scene.
