La Mirada mayor arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

La Mirada Mayor Gabriel Garcia has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after he crashed into a parked car, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials said Friday.

The crash occurred about 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the 14700 block of Tacuba Drive, said Sgt. Greg Arnold of the Sheriff's Department's Norwalk station, which patrols La Mirada. 

No one was injured in the crash, Arnold said, and Garcia was released Friday on a citation.
