Hiker finds woman's body in Angeles National Forest

The body of a woman was found Thursday afternoon by a hiker in the Angeles National Forest.

The discovery was made on East Fork Road near Prairie Fork Road, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Homicide detectives were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. No additional details were immediately available.
