Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near Santa Rosa

A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Tuesday morning 24 miles from Santa Rosa, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:58 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.9 mile.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was four miles from Cobb, four miles from Anderson Springs,  and 72 miles from Sacramento.

In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
