Earthquake: 3.6 quake strikes near Tonopah Junction, Nev.

A shallow magnitude 3.6 earthquake was reported Saturday afternoon nine miles from Tonopah Junction, Nev., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:15 p.m. PST at a depth of 3.1 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 188 miles from Sacramento.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
