Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near Kelseyville

A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon four miles from Kelseyville, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:31 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.2 mile.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was seven miles from Clearlake Oaks, seven miles from Clearlake, 28 miles from Ukiah and 75 miles from Sacramento.

In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
