Authorities in Lancaster on Friday seized approximately $200,000 in stolen property, $5,000 in cash, several containers of illegal narcotics, and six handguns -- four of which were stolen, according to a news release.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the property was discovered by deputies serving search warrants on two residences in the 45000 block of Rodin Street. Among the items recovered were flat-screen televisions, electronic gaming systems, electronics, landscaping supplies and automobile equipment.

The searches were conducted by the Lancaster station’s Burglary Suppression Team and the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau.

Three adults and three juveniles were arrested as a result of the searches and booked on suspicion of a variety of charges, including suspicion of committing burglary, receiving stolen property and child endangerment, authorities said. The three adult suspects were identified as John Brown, 32; Larry Dawson, 33; and Schavon Conway, 33, all of Lancaster.

A 13-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl were taken into custody by the Department of Child and Family Services at the time of the arrests.

Officials said the recovery of the stolen goods capped a two-month-long investigation into several reported burglaries on Lancaster’s Eastside.
