Man fatally shot, another stabbed at Alpine Village concert

Alpinevillage
A man was fatally shot and another was stabbed early Sunday during a fight at a punk-rock concert at the Alpine Village Center in unincorporated Torrance, authorities said.

The fight initially broke out inside the German-themed locale and spilled into a parking lot about 12:25 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

A man was shot, and he died of his injuries at a hospital, authorities said.

A second man was stabbed during the fight. Authorities said he was in stable condition at a hospital.

Investigators described the altercation as a "big fight" and said they were looking for two suspects in what were believed to be separate incidents. No suspect descriptions were immediately available, other than both were believed to be men.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incidents to call sheriff's homicide detectives at (323) 890-5500, or provide information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
