Actor Thomas Gibson arrested on suspicion of DUI

Actor Thomas Gibson, known for his roles in "Chicago Hope,”  “Dharma and Greg" and “Criminal Minds” was arrested early Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence, police said.

Gibson, 50, was arrested at  1:05 a.m. at 11th Street and Grand Avenue in downtown L.A., Los Angeles police said.

He was booked about half an hour later and released on $15,000 bail. His court date is scheduled for Jan. 31.
