Reader photos: Southern California Moments, Day 366

Coastal calm: On Saturday, Marc Evans photographed Santa Monica beach with an HTC Thunderbolt smartphone.

Another year, another batch of great photos. Thanks to everyone who's contributed. We will continue to highlight reader photos in 2013, but with some changes.

We want to ensure that we select the best of your work, so we're posting photos Monday through Friday instead of every day of the week. You can still expect to see our selections at 4 p.m. on L.A. Now.

We've gained a nice following on Facebook, but to keep our presence from getting stale, we're merging with the L.A. Times Local Facebook page. Selected photos will be posted there, plus stories we think you may enjoy.

To make sharing your photos easier, we've expanded the ways you can send us photos. Now you can tweet us your images (direct them to @latimes with the #socalmoments hashtag) or email them to latimes-moe9iv@olapic.it. You can continue to share your photos through our Flickr page or upload them directly to our reader photo gallery.

Thanks again for showing us your slice of Southern California. Here's another look at our photos of the day for 2012.
