Man found shot to death in Westlake neighborhood

A man was found shot to death in front of a house near downtown Los Angeles early Sunday, police said.

Police responding to a 911 call about 1 a.m. discovered the victim outside the house in the 800 block of Beacon Avenue in the Westlake area, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was available about the victim, police said.

The investigation is continuing.
