Laguna Woods city manager arrested in DUI

Laguna Woods’ city manager was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence last weekend, Orange County Sheriff’s Department officials confirmed Monday.
Leslie Keane, 64, was arrested in Laguna Hills about 10:45 p.m. Friday and booked into Orange County jail Saturday.
She was released at about 1 p.m., authorities said.
Her arraignment is scheduled Jan. 21. Details of her arrest were not immediately available. Keane did not return a call requesting comment.
According to the Laguna Woods website, Keane has served as the city’s manager since 1999, where she also is acting city clerk and community development director. She previously worked in Yucaipa and Colton.
