Williams was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and possession of a stolen firearm, police said.

It’s the latest of several brushes with the law for Williams in Sacramento and Seattle.

The 41-year-old was arrested about 8:30 p.m. after the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services did a welfare check at his home, said L.A. police Officer Norma Eisenman. Authorities found more than one firearm, she said, one of which had been reported stolen.

The comedian, whose given name is Micah Sierra Williams, was released on bail Friday night, Eisenman said. The DCFS did not specify how many children lived at the home or whether they were removed, she said.

Williams has been arrested multiple times in recent months, according to media reports.

In November, he was accused of hitting a man on the head with a bottle during a fight in Oakland. Earlier this month, he was arrested near Sacramento on a felony warrant that alleged that he led police on a chase while riding a three-wheeled motorcycle and came close to hitting pedestrians.

Also this month, a judge in Seattle issued an arrest warrant for Williams after he failed to appear in court for a hearing. Williams had been accused of assaulting a man at a comedy show. ALSO:
