Jewelry, family heirlooms stolen from Rep. Darrell Issa’s home

San Diego County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the theft of an estimated $100,000 in jewelry, including several family heirloom pieces, from the home of U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Vista).

The theft occured in the early evening of Nov. 29 at Issa’s home in northern San Diego County.

No arrests have been made. More than 50 pieces of jewelry were taken, authorities said.
